GypSea Charters serves the coastal waters and back country rivers of Crystal River, Homosassa, and the legendary Chassahowitzka River—some of the most diverse and scenic waterways on Florida’s Nature Coast.
While the Chassahowitzka is a favorite for its quiet, undeveloped “Old Florida” character, GypSea Charters is not limited to a single launch location.
Depending on season, tides, weather, and trip objectives,your captain may depart from different access points to provide the safest, smoothest, and most productive day on the water.
- Crystal River access offers reliable winter navigation, marked channels, and direct routes toward scallop grounds and Gulf waters Often leaving out of Twin Rivers Marina.
- Chassahowitzka trips highlight pristine back country, wildlife-rich creeks and springs, and light boat traffic.
Once on the water, these systems blend naturally—grass flats, mangrove shorelines, and Gulf edges that feel timeless and wild.
